Commuter Riding
After acquiring this Look 765 Optimum Charcoal Metallic Satin, I rode it for my commute and got surprised by the bike.
I rode it from home on a flat, open road in the first light of the morning.
I set the SHIMANO ULTEGRA drivetrain to its maximum gear ratio and flew down the road feeling very free and relaxed.
On the very long uphill ahead, I switched the SHIMANO ULTEGRA drivetrain to the smallest gear ratio to get more power with less effort, and I wouldn’t exert too much effort on this stretch of road.
Gradually coming to the busy street, I relied on the LOOK LS2 Alloy Handlebar to make nimble changes of direction and weave through the crowd.
Even when I encountered an unexpected situation, I could still rely on the SHIMANO RT MT 800 Hydraulic Disc to stop the bike.
Also, the 766mm stand-up height would not let me fall down in an emergency brake.
After work, the rain during the day made the road rather slippery and the riding route changed from uphill to downhill.
But I was still able to ride smoothly thanks to its CONICAL (Syntace STD) tires, which provided great grip force, allowing me to maintain my balance well.
On top of that, it came with mudguards so I wouldn’t get my back wet from the mud and water brought up by the tires, allowing me to stay dry even when riding on slippery roads.
