Priority CURRENT E-BIKE

The Priority CURRENT E-BIKE has a comfortable geometry and excellent ergonomic components, making it a great helper for a daily mobility ride.

Below, we analyze the riding experience, key features, components and specifications of the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE as well as other versions.

At the end of the REVIEW, we also compare several best bike models. If you want to know more about bike reviews, you can follow us.

Cycling Experience

The Priority CURRENT E-BIKE has a comfortable riding ability, and the 500w mid-drive torque induction motor with a maximum torque of 140NM provides a surging power output that makes riding easier.

For this reason I planned a ride on my side of the countryside with the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE and booked a hotel near my destination via IHG.

The ride is mostly flat and open roads with some uphill and downhill, and there are some unpaved roads near the countryside.

Road Cycling

The Priority CURRENT E-BIKE ride felt comfortable to me, with excellent geometry that allows for a more upright riding position for longer rides. I still didn’t feel overly stretched out even after long periods of riding conditions.

Then, in the upper distance of uphill riding, the powerful power output made my uphill riding easier and saved my physical exertion to the greatest extent. Also, the sound of the motor’s work was also quiet enough.

On long descents, utilizing inertia allowed me to coast quickly without any pedaling.

The hydraulic disc brakes, with their reliable performance, did not show any particularly noticeable reduction in braking ability due to overheating of the brakes under my continuous braking maneuvers.

On unpaved roads, the wide 650B tires absorbed some of the road’s vibration, while the anti-puncture membrane provided a layer of protection against debris and thorns, giving me a more reassuring, comfortable ride.

All in all, the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE is an exceptionally well suited bike for everyday riding, with excellent component piggybacking and frame geometry that makes it adaptable to long-distance riding.

Commuter Cycling

I used the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE as my transportation of commuter riding in the last few days.

First of all, the motor made my commute less tiring and more relaxing. With more energy and stamina, I could devote myself to the next task.

Then the 650B wheelset made my ride handling much more nimble, allowing me to navigate through the various narrow alleys of the streets with ease.

The light that came with it provided illumination during my night ride without worrying about not being able to see the road caused by the darkness.

The flashing light located at the back of the bike can also served as a better warning and ensured safer night riding.

Specification

The Priority CURRENT E-BIKE is available in 3 sizes (S-XL) and is suitable for riders from 5’0″ – 6’3″ in height, offering a wide range of options.

Next, rust- and grease-free carbon drive belts manage torque better than a chain and won’t break and leave the rider stranded. Plus, a clean drive belt won’t get your hands or clothes dirty.

With front and rear fenders, you can have a better riding experience in rainy weather and watery road conditions without worrying about the splashing of rainwater.

The frame supports the installation of cargo racks and external battery extenders, which doubles the range to support long-distance riding.

FAQs

  • How much does it weigh?

It weighs 53.0 lbs.

  • Can it be charged every day?

Do not leave the battery plugged into the charger for long periods of time. This is unnecessary and will produce shorter discharge/charge cycles, which will eventually reduce capacity.

  • How to choose the right size?

Here we provide you with a size chart, but of course you do not have to follow this standard. The best way to find the most suitable size is to test ride.

Priority CURRENT E-BIKE VS Specialized Women’s Turbo Vado 4.0

Specialized Women's Turbo Vado 4.0
Specialized Women’s Turbo Vado 4.0

The former uses a motor, which is more powerful and has a more robust power output, so you can achieve faster riding speeds.

In terms of frame design, both have downward curved top tubes that make it easy for the rider to get on and off the bike.

But the former has a more comfortable riding position with its geometry, and the saddle section rides better than the latter.

However, the latter has a 50mm travel damping stroke, so it has better damping on complicated roads to ensure the stability of the body when riding.

In the end, between these two bikes, the great power of the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE is what I like more.

Priority CURRENT E-BIKE VS Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 Step-Through

Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 Step-Through
Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 Step-Through

Comparing the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE to the Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0 Step-Through, the latter’s drive has more speeds.

But the former’s rust- and grease-free carbon drive belt ensures that the bike stays neat and clean without having to worry about grease stains on your clothes and pants.

Besides, the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE comes with front and rear fenders to keep your clothes clean during rainy weather or watery rides, for added peace of mind.

At the end of the day, between these two hybrid e-bikes, I would still prefer the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE because it can be ridden regardless of any environment or conditions.

Priority CURRENT E-BIKE vs Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0

Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0
Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0

Comparing the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE to the Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0, you can see in the geometry that the former rides more comfortably and has a wider, softer saddle, while the latter has a more aggressive riding position and rides faster.

The former has a smaller wheelset for more nimble handling. The latter has a larger wheel diameter, so it has a faster top speed.

Finally, between these two bikes, the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE is better if you need a more comfortable and cozy ride.

The latter, the Specialized Turbo Vado SL 4.0, on the other hand, provides a faster ride.

Priority CURRENT E-BIKE vs Haibike Trekking 4 LOW

Haibike Trekking 4 LOW
Haibike Trekking 4 LOW

The latter has a SR Suntour fork with 100mm of travel, which ensures better riding comfort on bumpy roads.

However, the rigid fork of the former has a more direct pedaling feel.

On top of that, they both have front and rear fenders, no matter how bad the environment, to ensure that the clothes will not get dirty. But with its own rack design, it has a better loadability.

With the former’s rust- and grease-free carbon drive belt, you can keep your bike neat and clean without worrying about getting grease on your clothes and pants.

So both cars are excellent and either one is a good choice.

Summary

Above is my riding review of the Priority CURRENT E-BIKE. In our opinion, it’s a comfortable hybrid e-bike and reliable enough to be durable, which is why we gave it a 4.9 rating.

Of course, if you’d like to learn about other hybrid e-bikes, we also review a lot of interesting bikes at various price points, so feel free to take a look at our tests on that as well.
