I packed my belongings and attached panniers to the bike’s rear rack before setting off. The entire route was flat and well-suited for cycling, with some uphill and downhill sections.

During downhill rides, the hydraulic disc brakes offer robust and reliable braking performance. Even with continuous braking, there’s no noticeable loss of braking power due to overheating. This instills confidence in my riding.

Stromer ST1 Special Edition vs. Specialized Turbo Como 5.0
These two bikes are both excellent electric bicycles. However, the latter is equipped with a RockShox Recon Silver RL 80mm suspension fork, which handles bumpy riding terrain better.
But when it comes to battery range, the former comes with a larger 983Wh battery capacity, which is more powerful in terms of range compared to the 710Wh battery capacity of the latter.
Lastly, in terms of geometry, the former has a more aggressive riding posture, while the latter leans towards a more leisurely riding style with a more upright seating position.
In conclusion, between these two electric bikes, I would prefer the Stromer ST1 Special Edition because of its longer battery range, which is quite important.
