Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC vs. Giant Revolt Advanced Pro 1
The comparison between the two bikes shows that the latter has a higher price tag and higher quality components. The same carbon fiber frame and carbon fiber fork are used, but the Giant Revolt uses a lighter and stronger carbon fiber wheelset design. This makes the gravel road bike lighter overall, but also greatly increases the overall cost of the bike.
In terms of wheel size options, the Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC offers a small 650b wheel size option for smaller sizes. This approach ensures that shorter riders can maintain the same riding position as other medium and larger frames. This design allows its frame to cater to a wider range of heights without the need to modify the frame size because of the oversized wheel diameter.

Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC vs. Canyon Grail CF SLX 8 Di2
Canyon has incorporated a lot of high-tech products into this gravel road bike, such as double-layered handlebars. A raised head tube and a comfortable cushioned seat tube have earned it a very high asking price. Like our test bike, they have put in a lot of effort to accommodate shorter riders.
As for the shifting components, Canyon uses a hybrid electronic shifting kit to make this bike a 2×11 speed electronic shifting gravel road bike. Designed for gravel road bikes, the GRX package provides excellent climbing and trail capability without losing speed. What is not easily noticed is the aggressive frame geometry of the Canyon Grail CF SLX 8 Di2, which gives the rider a very forward riding position on this bike. This bike is perfect for gravel race racing, but if you’re a non-race rider who craves comfort, then this bike would be a great choice.

Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC vs. BMC URS 01 FOUR
BMC uses a very bright fork design, which makes this gravel road bike highly recognizable. The bike is made of the same material as the test bike, carbon fiber frame, carbon fiber fork, and aluminum wheelset. BMC has chosen to use Sram components, which are not specifically designed for gravel road bikes, but this bike has a mix of road and mountain bike 1× components, which is a good choice in my opinion. Its compatibility should be good as evidenced by its sales.
The 1x drivetrain is considered very suitable for gravel bikes, as it lacks a front derailleur and avoids issues with chain derailment. However, there are still many who believe that a 1x drivetrain is inadequate for road bikes, possibly affecting the overall speed or climbing performance of the bike. The choice ultimately depends on personal preference.
Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC vs. 3T Exploro Primo Rival AXS 2×12
Unlike the other gravel road bikes on the list, this one uses all road bike components, so it may be lacking in climbing ability. However, the quest for speed is certainly superior to the other gravel road bikes. The thick, wind-breaking tube shape and large drop-offs show off the bike’s speed, and the low-frame aluminum wheelset gives it a more balanced performance.
Our test bike, the Juliana QUINCY GRX / Carbon CC, is more suited to comfortable gravel riding or touring, and not so much for speed. So you should be able to choose which gravel road bike is more suitable for your riding style according to your preference.
