Riding Experience
Without actual riding, all descriptions are meaningless. To provide our users with an authentic reading experience, our team headed to Moab, Southern Utah. Before setting off, I also booked accommodation through Skyscanner to give myself ample space to rest and prepare.
Although we’ve been here before to review bikes, we came back because Southern Utah is the location of Fezzari’s headquarters, and Moab offers a variety of different difficulty levels of singletrack and bike paths.
The ever-changing terrain and high-difficulty challenges didn’t make me afraid but instead filled me with determination, and the reality didn’t disappoint me.
Riding on the Slickrock Trail
Slickrock Trail is one of Moab’s famous tracks. From a distance, the surface looks smooth and reddish. However, when I rode the Fezzari Cascade here, I found that the Slickrock Trail is composed of red sandstone, with fine sand covering the surface, making it look smooth.
However, the surface is full of details with various bumps and rock formations, which require better skills and experience to conquer.
Fortunately, Fezzari Cascade’s wide gear range and responsive shifting allowed me to quickly adapt to the changing terrain on the Slickrock Trail, ensuring a smoother and better riding experience.
Not only that, Fezzari Cascade’s front DVO Diamond D1 140mm and rear Fox Float DPS Performance Series suspension systems effectively reduce bumps and vibrations during the ride, allowing me to pass through various terrains more smoothly and comfortably.
Riding at Dead Horse Point State Park
I have to say, the Fezzari Cascade performed exceptionally well on the ever-changing terrain of Slickrock Trail. The outstanding suspension system and responsive drivetrain left a deep impression on me.
But for a more comprehensive evaluation, we rode for five hours at Dead Horse Point State Park. It’s a beautiful park with challenging downhill sections for advanced riders. Knowing our abilities, we didn’t attempt those challenging downhill sections and chose a relatively easier route.
On this downhill route, the Fezzari Cascade with 29″x2.5 Maxxis tires provided me with stable handling while experiencing high speeds. The built-in remote dropper post not only provided convenient seat height adjustment but also acted as a shock absorber during relatively large drops.
Additionally, the ergonomically designed Selle Italia Model-X saddle and Fezzari FRD Charger35 handlebars made my ride more comfortable and efficient.
Overall, the Fezzari Cascade is a high-performance mountain bike equipped with top-of-the-line components and advanced technology, capable of meeting the high-level demands of professional riders and providing excellent riding experience and competitive performance.

Other versions of Fezzari Cascade
We took the Fezzari Cascade to challenge many harsh terrains, and this bike conquered us with its outstanding performance. To have a more comprehensive understanding of the Fezzari Cascade, we also found its other versions. Here is our review of them, hoping it will be helpful to you.
Fezzari Cascade Peak
The Fezzari Cascade Peak is the mid-high-end version of the Cascade series, featuring an aluminum frame. However, I prefer the color of the Fezzari Cascade.
Nevertheless, Fezzari Cascade Peak is also equipped with a 140mm DVO Diamond D1 fork, which performs excellently in downhill shock absorption. However, in terms of the rear shock absorber configuration, although Fezzari Cascade Peak uses the same model of Fox Float DPS, Fezzari Cascade uses the updated Fox Float DPS. Nevertheless, this Fezzari Cascade Peak can also provide reliable riding performance and comfort.
Overall, the Fezzari Cascade series offers multiple versions to meet the needs of different riders. Regardless of which version you choose, you can get the desired riding experience.

- Does Fezzari Cascade have a dropper? What are the benefits?
There are droppers. The benefit of the lift seat bar is that the saddle height can be adjusted instantly with the push of a button. It also makes it easier to get on and off the bike since you can lower the saddle before mounting the bike.

Yes. The advantages of a tubeless setup are the added blast protection and the ability to run at lower tire pressures for increased comfort and traction on the track.
