The most compelling evidence of this is that it sets the bar high for e-bikes, offering riders a combination of affordability, comfort, and power. Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen City Commute Review
After getting my hands on the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen, I couldn’t wait to get on it. For the next two weeks, it was mostly on streets around the city, paved bike lanes, and some gravel roads.
Like most e-bikes, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen has a very fast speed, and it has multiple levels of assistance for me to choose to adjust. However, when I was very tired, it didn’t even need pedals, just a twist of the power handle on my hand to get me going fast. It was very exciting! There is also a significant amount of torque from the 350-watt motor that can reach 20 mph very easily. It’s really good for people with less physical strength or even middle-aged or elderly people.
I ride it to work every day, I can easily travel through the city with a lot of traffic, and on the road with many traffic lights, the step frame also allows me to easily pause and start, which is very convenient for city travel.
I have to say that I often have to get home late because of work, so I like the integrated light embedded in the frame. 40 lux headlight helps me to steer in the right direction in low-visibility conditions. Also, the brake light built into the rear fork alerts me to cars on the side when I brake, which is a great safety measure.
Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen Fitness Cycling Review
On long fitness rides, I often turn off its booster system and make it a regular bike. This way I get a good workout and I can ride hard.
Indeed, it doesn’t give me a workout if I just ride with electricity. I often ride it in my free time on weekends to feel the fresh air outside. It’s comfortable to ride, and the upright frame makes me feel like I can sit in a chair and ride without looking like my back will hurt like those professional riders who are lying on their backs. Those who are careful will notice that the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen even has two air cushions under the saddle. This makes my ride as comfortable as sitting on the couch.
Needless to say, I usually lack exercise, and given this, I always feel tired already halfway through my workout. That’s when I can turn on its electric assist mode to give me some support while riding. What’s more, when I’m in dire need of getting somewhere, I’ll let the electrician drive this bike completely, allowing me to get to my destination quickly.
It is worth mentioning that there is an LCD dashboard in the center of the handlebars, which is easy to see at all times. This is handy whether it’s in harsh sunlight or at night. In the left hand, there is a controller that allows me to know and control my speed in real-time, as well as the amount of power I have left.

Frame
The bike’s all-aluminum frame makes it as strong and durable as it looks. It has headphones on both sides of the head tube, allowing all cables to be hidden inside the frame.

What many people may not notice is that there is a keyhole on the side of the frame. So I can also park it on the side of the road and not worry about the battery being taken by unsuspecting people.
In addition, the rear triangle portion of the frame has an integrated taillight built into it, as well as screw holes for mounting the rear rack and fenders. I can easily install what I need.

Geometry
The Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen always gives me a very upright riding position, thanks to its loose head tube angle, seat tube angle, and shorter Reach (363mm). In my actual riding, this design keeps my back straight at all times, which makes me very comfortable. Also, the elongated wheelbase (1108mm) makes the whole bike very stable and easy to handle.
Unlike other bikes, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen eliminates its top tube, which is greatly thickened by the down tube. This not only allows it to hold the battery but also increases the stability of the frame and absorbs bumps, which is a multi-benefit design.
Meanwhile, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen has a long head tube and swept-back cruiser-style handlebars. This makes my arms very comfortable while riding and the front end is much easier to control.

Shimano Altus 1×7 speed
Without reservation, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen features a Shimano Altus 1×7-speed drivetrain. This also makes it better quality and less prone to errors.

Shengyi 350w Planetary Gear Motor
The Planetary Gear motor gives me a higher drive feel on my longer rides. There is no doubt that it doesn’t bring some resistance as a gearless motor does. However, since it is a 12-magnet speed sensor, people often say they can experience the distinct sensation of pressing a switch. But in my actual riding, I didn’t notice it.
It’s also worth noting that the fully sealed sensor keeps dust out, which is a nice feature. Although it may not have the powerful boost of a 500W motor, it allows you to have a smooth ascent and is quiet.
lithium-ion Battery With Samsung Battery 36v 11.6ah
Powering the car is a lithium battery from Samsung, which is a very well-balanced battery.
What is not easy to notice is that there is a USB port on the side. However, this is not used for charging. It is hard to imagine that it is used for service diagnostics. But I always want to connect it to a power source and use it to charge my battery.
The battery is very fragile. To take care of it, I had to take it home all the time to charge it and store it in a cool, dry place. But the 3A charging power is very fast compared to other cars, and I like that.
And I would say that the IPX4 level of waterproofing also allows me to ride in the rain with confidence, as well as across puddles of water.
KENDA 27.5×2.2″ Ebike Tires
I know the KENDA brand very well, it means to me strong and durable.
This was also true in my tests and Aventon has added puncture protection to the tires on this bike. This also means more time cruising and exploring, and less time worrying about whether your electric bike is ready to ride on a given terrain. Even if a puncture occurs, the self-replacing fluid inside the tire will quickly fill the gap for you.
It is worth mentioning that KENDA also thoughtfully adds reflective strips to the tire rims, which allows you to safely reach your destination when riding at night.

The Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen is a comfortable and relaxing ride, with precise data control and an easy-to-carry battery.
I have to say, it is a good hybrid car, whether for daily commuting or long-distance riding have a good experience.
At the same time, it was joined by the Aventon Pace 500, which has a larger battery, adjustable handlebar angle, and a more powerful motor. In our opinion, this is a very effective boost when going uphill, while the braking method has been upgraded from mechanical to hydraulic braking.

Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen VS Aventon Pace 500 Step-Through ebike
The two bikes are sister models released in the same period. Aventon Pace 500 Step-Through ebike, which has a larger battery, adjustable handlebar angle, and a more powerful motor. In our opinion, this is a very effective boost when going uphill, while the braking method is upgraded from mechanical to hydraulic braking.
In comparison, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen looks like an abbreviated version of the Aventon Pace 500 Step-Through ebike. For some people who are not very concerned about climbing performance and speed, it will be more suitable for urban mobility and commuting to work.
But it should be added that the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen is also a good car, and it has a much lower price.
Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen VS Co-op CTY e1.1
Co-op CTY e1.1 In our review I found that its higher standing height (744.6) is not friendly to short people and has a long seat tube.
In contrast, the design benefits of the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen eliminating the top tube (standing height 445) come through nicely at this point.
On the other hand, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen has a similar battery size to the Co-op CTY e1.1, but the Co-op CTY e1.1 has a much less powerful motor. This means that it may face a steep slope and you need to spend a lot of effort to climb it.
One more thing to highlight is that the Co-op CTY e1.1 has its battery external to the top of the downtube. In my opinion, this is ugly and its water resistance is debatable.
Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen VS Sixthreezero Electric-Bicycles EVRYjourney Men’s Ebike
I have to say that the Sixthreezero Electric-Bicycles EVRYjourney Men’s Ebike places the battery in the gap between the rear tire and the rear rack. This gives the front of the bike a clean look. However, during the test ride, I noticed that the whole bike’s center of gravity was so far back that I always felt like the front tire was going to buckle.
On some trails, the Sixthreezero Electric-Bicycles EVRYjourney Men’s Ebike had to grow the wheelbase as well as the loosehead tube angle to balance it out. And its battery is too small.
In response to this feature, I found that the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen did a great job. Not only the built-in high-capacity battery but even the taillight and some other components, the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen has done it all in an integrated manner.
Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen VS Hurley Bikes Laguna E-Hybrid
The Hurley Bikes Laguna E-Hybrid was a good experience during my test ride. It has a good weight distribution and the clean frame makes it look like a normal bike.
It’s worth noting that the 360Wh is too small for me, and it has a battery that hangs out on the center tube. I was often worried about it getting wet from the rain. For this reason, I had to take it home at the end of each ride.
In contrast, the battery in the Aventon Pace 350 Step-Through Ebike Next-Gen is more of an integrated unit. I can always leave it in the frame unless the battery runs out.
