As an experienced rider with rich off-road biking experience, I wanted more people to participate in this sport, so I found the Polygon SISKIU D6. This full-suspension off-road bike is reasonably priced and offers excellent value, making it highly suitable for beginners. I was looking forward to testing this bike on the off-road trails.

Riding Experience
To better test the Polygon SISKIU D6, I purchased a flight ticket and booked a hotel on IHG to travel to Drammen Skisenter.
At Drammen Skisenter, I selected the Nc-løypa trail. This trail is long and generally downhill, with significant elevation drops and steep slopes, making the ride quite challenging. Moreover, the trail surface has many protruding rocks, and there are branches everywhere. I must admit that the difficulty level of this trail is quite high.
Off-Road Biking
Starting not far from the mountaintop, I followed the downhill trend, then gradually accelerated using the Flat Alloy pedals. I controlled the SHIMANO DEORE RD-M4120 DIRECT ATTACH 10-SPEED Rear Derailleur and adjusted to different gear ratios according to the varying terrain. The first part of the straight downhill section was not too difficult, so I rode at full speed, enjoying the exhilarating feeling of flying freely.
When I encountered the rough trail with protruding rocks, I firmly gripped the ENTITY SPORT ALLOY handlebar to avoid slipping and ensure my safety. The 120mm rear travel and 120mm front travel provided effective suspension, and I didn’t feel excessively bumpy. Additionally, the SHIMANO MT201 HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKE helped me decelerate promptly, which was crucial on this type of terrain.
Is that all?
During uphill sections, I adjusted the SHIMANO DEORE RD-M4120 DIRECT ATTACH 10-SPEED Rear Derailleur to the smallest gear ratio to gain more power with less effort. Utilizing the speed gained from downhill sections, I stood up and lowered the seat height using the dropper, avoiding hitting my legs against the seat during acceleration.
I then soared forward on the uphill road, adjusting my center of gravity. The outstanding 120mm rear travel and 120mm front travel provided excellent suspension, and I experienced a minimal impact, falling in love with the sensation of soaring.
When riding through bends, I skillfully controlled the ENTITY SPORT ALLOY handlebar. Sitting on the ENTITY VOID SADDLE, I constantly adjusted my center of gravity to maneuver smoothly through the turns. Finding different points of support for each bend, I completed every curve. Furthermore, the DELI tires offered strong traction and grip, giving me great confidence in tackling the bends with aggressive maneuvers. That’s the confidence the DELI tires provided me with.

The Polygon SISKIU D6 is an impressive full-suspension off-road bike, featuring an aluminum frame and equipped with both SUNTOUR XCM fork and SUNTOUR RAIDON LO AIR fork, providing 120mm rear travel and 120mm front travel with decent suspension performance. Moreover, it comes with a 1×10 SHIMANO DEORE RD-M4120 DIRECT ATTACH 10-SPEED rear derailleur, delivering smooth gear shifting.

Polygon SISKIU T8
The Polygon SISKIU D6 weighs 37.6lbs, slightly heavier than the Polygon SISKIU T8, which weighs 33.5lbs. The additional weight provides greater stability during rides but may introduce more resistance. Moreover, the Polygon SISKIU T8 boasts a 1×12 drivetrain, offering a wider gear range than the Polygon SISKIU D6’s 1×10 drivetrain.
Additionally, the Polygon SISKIU T8 has 150mm front travel and 135mm rear travel, providing better suspension performance compared to the Polygon SISKIU D6’s 120mm rear travel and 120mm front travel.
Furthermore, the Polygon SISKIU D6 can ride up to 26mph, whereas the Polygon SISKIU T8 can reach only 24mph, making it a bit slower. The Polygon SISKIU D6 also has a 1.36 stack/reach ratio, larger than the Polygon SISKIU T8’s 1.32 stack/reach ratio, providing greater extension and a more comfortable riding experience.
In summary, if you seek a more comfortable ride, I recommend the Polygon SISKIU D6. If you desire a lighter bike, the Polygon SISKIU T8 would be your top choice.
