Is it good for commuting?
As someone who frequently rides traditional bicycles, trying out the Yuba Boda Cargo Bike with its extended cargo capabilities was a game-changer for me.
With its Lithium-Ion, 418 Wh battery and the Shimano STEPS E6100 motor providing continuous powerful assistance, I found myself speeding up without the need for constant pedaling, which was an amazing feeling. The ease of cruising at high speeds was truly exhilarating.
When encountering uphill slopes, I adjusted the Shimano RD-M2000 rear derailleur to the smallest gear ratio, ensuring that the Lithium-Ion, 418 Wh battery, and Shimano STEPS E6100 motor wouldn’t strain excessively, providing a smooth uphill ride. On the descents, I adjusted the Shimano RD-M2000 rear derailleur and gently pressed the Tektro Vela Hydraulic Hydraulic Disc Brake to control my speed and avoid any dangerous situations. With the Yuba City Handlebars in my grip, the entire electric bike felt stable and responsive.
During the evening commute, I switched on the integrated LED lights of the electric bike, illuminating my path clearly, and I felt fully confident knowing that the Tektro Vela Hydraulic Hydraulic Disc Brake was there to help me stop promptly if needed. It provided me with the assurance I needed.

I love going on excursions, and every week I take my bike to explore the countryside. This time, with the Yuba Boda Cargo Bike, I could carry a substantial amount of cargo within its 396-pound total capacity, ensuring I had all the necessities for a fun and enjoyable countryside trip.
Additionally, the WTB Cruz w/ Flat Guard tires with their shallow and closely spaced tread blocks allowed for fast and efficient rolling. I am no longer worried about getting flat tires while riding on rural roads.
One notable point is that after an extended ride, the battery ran out of charge. However, the convenience of removing the battery and charging it at home for only four hours made it easy for me to get back on the road.
