Coupled with the Bosch 250W mid-drive motor, it delivers excellent power when tackling uphill sections. I can effortlessly handle steep slopes that a regular cargo electric bike might struggle with, enjoying a smooth and comfortable experience.
Moreover, the Shimano Deore RD-M6000 rear derailleur provides exceptional shifting capabilities, being very versatile. I can adjust it based on road conditions and requirements.
Whether facing steep uphill, flat terrain, or rapid downhill, I can fine-tune resistance and speed using the derailleur for optimal riding performance. The smooth gear shifting and accuracy enable seamless transitions between different gears, making the ride smoother and more efficient.
Anything else?
The WTB saddle design is excellent, especially for long rides. The Yuba Spicy Curry AT comes with a comfortable saddle that provides good support and cushioning. I feel the pressure on my hips and lower back reduced, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable riding experience over extended periods.
Additionally, the Magura MT32 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes on this bike are outstanding. When faced with emergencies during my rides, carrying a lot of cargo can result in longer braking distances. However, the brakes respond promptly and sensitively. Whether in pedestrian zones, busy streets, or downhill sections, I feel a great sense of safety and control.
Furthermore, the Yuba Spicy Curry AT is equipped with a 20″ Schwalbe Smart Sam K Guard for the rear wheel and a 26″ Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus for the front wheel. This setup lowers the height of the bike’s rear, making it convenient for loading and unloading cargo, providing great convenience.
