The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp has an aggressive, modern geometry with a long reach and super slack head angle. The travel length close to that of a speed bike makes it more stable and faster on the descent than a full-suspension enduro bike in the same series.

Riding Experience
The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp is a sharpshooter built for descending, with aggressive geometry for even more swiftness on the way down. The top-of-the-line carbon frame coupled with well-performed components makes me anxious to go and experience this fully shocked enduro bike soon.
For this reason, I immediately booked a ticket in Skyscanner to go to the mountain bike park next door. There are many big drop jumps, some fast descending gravel roads, and winding muddy trails.
Climbing
The road to the summit on my heavy enduro bike (Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp) was not easy.
However, the Michelin Wild Enduro 27.5″ x 2.4 has a very viscous, large-grain outer tube that grips the ground well, allowing me to fully transmit my pedaling power to the ground without slipping.
And on the steeper grades I climbed, the Shimano Deore M6100 12 Speed Crank, 175mm, 32T crankset with the 10-51T 12-Speed flywheel made me climb with less effort.
Eventually, after spending some time, I made it to the starting point of the descent route at the top of the mountain.
Decline
The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp is a fully shocked enduro bike built for descending. As I rode it down the big drop, the 180mm front and rear travel damping combined with the RockShox Zeb fork and RockShox Super Deluxe Select R rear shock absorbed most of the impact of the drop. And the good grounding did not send me flying.
The Shimano Deore M6100 brakes, with 203mm discs front and rear, responded well when I needed to brake down quickly, reducing my braking distance as much as possible.
Finally, I could feel the Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp as I rode around the trails, a long wheelbase bike with nimble and comfortable cornering ability. The excellent rear triangle allowed me to get through the winding paths quickly and crisply without losing too much speed.
Specification
The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp is available in 5 frame sizes (S to XXL) with 27.5″ or 29″ wheels, giving riders various options. The entire inner alignment design of the bike has a cleaner overall look. It will be more convenient and easy to clean on a daily basis.
The frame geometry has a loose head tube angle and a long wheelbase, making the vehicle’s center of gravity more grounded. It has a stable body condition when descending. The design of the dropper tube allows for quick adjustment of your riding center of gravity between the climbing and descending transitions of the ride.
Finally, the lower tube mounting hole can accommodate a 750ml water bottle, and the upper tube mounting hole can carry portable tools, thus helping riders to ride further.

As to the front and rear shocks, the former uses Fox 38 Float forks and Fox Float X2 rear shock absorbers, which provide better support, and the Kashima coating on the inner tube delivers stronger lubrication when the shock is working.
Regarding the drivetrain, the bike is equipped with Shimano XT, which is lighter in weight, smoother in shifting and more stable when the muscular tension of the rear derailleur drops. So it is not easy to drop the chain. The Shimano XT8120 brakes are also my favorite, with solid braking power and a comfortable hand feel.
If you don’t want to do any upgrades at a later stage to experience the most performance of this bike directly and have a budget, then Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Factory is a good choice.

Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp vs Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Expert RS
The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp and Specialized Stumpjumper EVO Expert RS are both full-suspension models of their respective pushes. Both are made of carbon fiber and have an internal alignment design.
The former has a longer front and rear shock travel than the latter, so it can be more intense when descending and can cope with more complex surfaces. In addition, the RockShox ZEB fork used on the Giga 275 Carbon Comp is thicker than the RockShox Lyrik Select fork on the Stumpjumper EVO Expert RS, which can handle the impact of a larger drop.
The SRAM X01 Eagle kit used in the Stumpjumper EVO Expert RS is lighter and stronger. It also has a crisper, more responsive shifting feel than the Shimano M6100 kit used in the former. The latter’s SRAM Code RS will also be more violent than the former’s Shimano M6100 in terms of braking components.
But of these two bikes, I would still prefer the former because it is less expensive, but its frame dictates that it has a strong potential to explore.
Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp vs Canyon Spectral 27.5 CF 9
The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp and the Canyon Spectral 27.5 CF 9 both use the same carbon fiber frame and the same 27.5-inch wheelset size, but the Canyon’s bike uses a more advanced kit and is priced at $1,448 accordingly.
In terms of shock travel, the former has 180mm of front and rear shock travel. This can support greater drop heights during intense descents. Although the latter has a shorter travel, the RockShox Lyrik Ultimate shock has a more responsive damping.
However, the Canyon Spectral 27.5 CF 9 uses higher grade components for the transmission and braking components, with a better feel and correspondingly lighter weight.
Ultimately, I would prefer the former of these two cross-country mountain bikes. I like the full-suspension enduro bikes with more travel, but the latter is also excellent.

Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp vs Trek Slash 8
Comparing the Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp to the Trek Slash 8, the two bikes are similarly priced. But the former’s carbon frame is lighter and has more upgrade potential than the latter’s aluminum frame.
In terms of damping, both bikes have RockShox ZEB Select forks, but the former has more extended travel to absorb more of the shock when flying over drops.
The SRAM GX Eagle shifting of the latter will feel crisper, and the rear paddle tension will be stronger. As for the braking package, the braking ability of the two bikes is similar, but the feel is slightly different, with the former being more linear and soft and the latter more direct and violent.
In short, with similar prices, the former has a better carbon fiber frame base and more potential.

When The Nukeproof Giga 275 Carbon Comp compares to the Santa Cruz BRONSON R / Carbon C, the VPP construction of the Santa Cruz is what appeals to many people. But the Nukeproof, a full-suspension enduro bike with longer travel, will provide the rider with more confidence when descending.
In terms of drivetrain, the latter’s SRAM NX and the former’s Shimano M6100 are similar in grade, but each has its own advantages in terms of hand feel, with SRAM’s shifting being crisper and more direct, and Shimano’s being silkier and smoother. Additionally, the two bikes use brake kits that have similar capabilities.
In the end, both bikes are excellent full-suspension enduro bikes. You can choose whichever depending on which bike you focus more on for looks and branding.
